Fall 2024 Breeding plans Coming soon!
The planned breedings listed here are only tentative and may change. Breedings become final when the doe is bred and confirmed pregnant with a * by the due date.
Reserving your Sweet Willow Kid
To reserve the option to purchase a Sweet Willow kid, a $100 deposit is required with the remaining balance due within 14 days of notification of birth. If your preferred kid gender is not available or if the animal does not meet our standards of quality, we will gladly transfer your deposit to another kid if that is your desire, or you may keep the same reservation to roll over into the next year’s kidding. If a doe dies and still has outstanding reservations, those holding the reservations have the option to transfer their reservation to another doe’s available one, or apply their deposit to a farm credit to be used on future animals.
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If for any reason a sale is canceled, no monies will be refunded. Prices are subject to change at our discretion (and likely will as a doe ages, shows, milks and LA’s), however if we do increase the price, we try to make sure it is completed before the doe is bred for her next freshening. We will never make last minute increases. Kids rejected by buyer due to coat color, eye color, or wattles is considered a cancelled order.
Deposits and Payments
Deposits on live and mature animals will hold that animal until pick-up within 14 days, if not otherwise arranged. Sending a deposit is your guarantee that you will buy that animal at the agreed upon price quoted within the timeframe specified. Deposits on live animals offered for sale are accepted at the rate of 50% of the animals’ total purchase price. Once a deposit is placed on a live animal, the goat must be picked up or out of our possession within 14 days or the animal may be offered for sale again or a boarding fee assessed at the rate of $30/week. Deposits can be transferred to another animal, but all monies paid on cancelled orders are not refunded.
Cash, checks, money orders, PayPal, CashApp and Venmo are accepted. We will hold registration papers until personal checks clear the bank. The buyer is responsible for all bank fees assessed for bad checks. Please make checks or money orders out to: Sweet Willow
We do accept PayPal payments at sweetwillowgc@gmail.com but be aware that the buyer is responsible for all PayPal transaction fees. Please include appropriate fees in your transaction at the time of the transaction. You can also send the PayPal funds as a “personal gift” or “Friends and Family” and fees are not assessed. Please indicate what the payment is for and include contact information if sending money from an unfamiliar name/email address.
The buyer is responsible for all health certificates, veterinary exams, blood tests, shipping, crate, and other costs associated with veterinary fees and shipment.
Success of Sold Animals
We do not give any guaranties on the success of the animals that we sell. After they leave our care it is up to the new owner to raise and maintain that animal. After all, herd management is half of the key to maintaining competitive animals. We are always willing to offer advice and to assist in any way we can in order to ensure the wellbeing of that animal and its future.
As the breeder/owner of these animals, we do reserve the right to keep any animal born or withdraw for sale an animal that does not meet our quality standards.
